Our Story
Jakarta Academics was the first micro-school in Indonesia to focus on the international UK curriculum since its inception. Its story goes back to 2013 when the founders of Jakarta Academics were operating a study centre to prepare students for UK international examinations. The continuous success of students was evidence of their capabilities to help students to excel academically.
The founders strongly believed in the alternative form of the school where personalised learning can be offered by keeping a small number of students in the classroom. In 2017, Jakarta Academics was officially incorporated under the name of PT Prima Bangsa Akademik.

Small Group Learning
A physical learning method where students come to school and study in small groups of a maximum of 6 students in 1 class.
Online Learning
Since its inception Jakarta Academics has been delivering quality online learning to students living in different parts of Indonesia.
Hybrid Learning
A combination of physical and online learning methods where students can study in the classroom as well as from home.

My name is Sugandha Priyadarshini, a Computer Science teacher with 7 years of experience and a Master’s in Computer Application. I focus on making students aware of computer technology, especially for today's students who will rely on computing skills throughout their lives. My teaching approach emphasises practical knowledge, resulting in students with strong practical skills.

Adhitya Ariyatno Wishnu Candra
I teach IGCSE Mathematics and A-Level Mathematics, supporting students of varying abilities through tailored lessons, consistent practice, and exam-focused strategies. By familiarizing students with exam-style questions and marking schemes, I help them approach assessments with confidence and clarity. Jakarta Academics provides a positive and enjoyable working environment, with strong support from the principal, staff, and fellow teachers. This collaborative culture fosters professional growth and effective teaching.
Winda Pratiwi
As the curriculum coordinator at Jakarta Academics School leads curriculum development and teaching, focusing on Science and Geography. With five years of experience, I have conducted research, published international articles, and led students to win science competitions. What makes me like JA the most is the UK curriculum and JA has a collaboration with UK universities, making it an excellent choice for students seeking a quality education.
